First off a big thank you to Fred Coutts and his team for a lovely service at the Trinity Cemetery on June 4th. There was a fair turnout which is always nice to see and thanks also go to the staff at the Patio Hotel who kindly served refreshments to the tea and biccie addices!!!!!!

Nicola Green is having a fundraiser disco and buffet to raise funds on the 26th August at the Mither Tap. It should be a really good night and it is raising money for a very good cause.

I would also like to mention 'Memory Pockets' which Fiona's mum Marjory has kindly offered to help with. The more help to do these pockets the better, as Rubislaw Ward sometimes run out of them and we all think they are such a nice, thoughtful touch.

The Next Pregnancy group

The group will continue to meet monthly and should you feel you want to go along to these meetings for some support, please do so by calling the helpline 0870 7606649 or sending an email to help@aberdeensands.com.

Memory Pockets

Anyone willing to sew up some Memory Pockets, please let us know on the helpline number - we really need to prepare as many as possible, to have some sort of stock to supply to Rubislaw ward with, when needed.

Trinity Cemetery Project

For information on head stones, kerbstones please contact Department of Burials and Cremations, ACC,St Nicholas House, Aberdeen for order forms and pricing information.

SANDS Library

There is a library of helpful books for newly bereaved families, children, and grandparents. There is also books for health visitors and professionals and for bereaved parents who have gone on to have a future pregnancy after a loss.
